Red pepper coulis in this recipe is easy to make and also a very versatile sauce with numerous applications. Such as on a blacken steak,blacken chicken, or on a southwestern style salad. The sky is the limit with this sauce you just have to think a little and use your imagination.
Now for the coulis:
1) 4 four roasted red peppers (and do not worry you can but them in a can or if you want to do it yourself please refer to my article on How to roast a red pepper)
2) 2 cloves of garlic
3) salt and pepper
4) olive oil
In a blender buzz the first three ingredients for 5 seconds. now start your blender again and slowly drizzle in the olive oil until your get the desired thickness of the dressing/sauce. Now all is left is to enjoy your mater piece.
